Moon Child, directed by Agustí Villaronga and inspired by Aleister Crowley’s 1923 novel of the same name is getting a gorgeous HD transfer from the original 35MM print source courtesy of TDW favor Cult Epics!

The cult mystical fantasy film centers on 12-year-old David (Enrique Saldaña) who has been adopted by a scientific cult studying prodigious beings. David soon discovers that the center’s goal is to channel the moon’s energy into a child that has yet to be born.
Possessing extraordinary extrasensory perception, David escapes the cult with the help of two women (Victoria, a member of the center and Georgina, the future mother of the supposed Moon Child) who intend to help David fulfill his destiny.
As David is relentlessly pursued across 2 continents on his way to Africa (where a tribe has prophesied that a white boy will arrive to be their god: the Son of the Moon), he experiences a series of remarkable events involving love, adventure, supernatural phenomenons and even death.
